Gratitude always fills my heart every time an act of genuine kindness or compassionate service is shown or rendered to my little family. Our life here in the KSA becomes less challenging, even if we’re miles away from home, because of the good-hearted individuals that surround us.
It has been said that you come to love the people you serve. I can affirm that this is not just a cliché! As most of our friends know, we are not veterans when it comes to parenting. The first few weeks after Sage’s born was particularly hard as it was our adjusting phase. Nonetheless, God’s so good to us because He sent Angels, in the form of friends, to assist and pray for us. Rowel and I are really thankful to all those who extended a helping hand especially during those times that we needed it the most. It is truly unimaginable to live in this part of the world without true friends who care!
Moreover, our heartfelt gratitude goes to all those who have been so kind and generous to our baby Sage:

We can’t thank you enough for your kindness and love. Much mahalo for always sending us sweet things… Truly, distance is not a reason to stop caring. Thanks again for loving us from a distance.
More than the material things, thank you guys for showering him with so much LOVE and ADORATION! It may seem that we’re receiving it with exaggerated zeal, but know that it is truly and heartily cherished. I hope we didn’t miss anyone! 🙂
Indeed, having thoughtful friends is one of the many blessings that we have been given and that we are truly grateful for!
